Here we are watching the Test Match in June against Sri Lanka at the Rose Bowl, Southampton. First ever Test Match at the ground. We had a great time and saw Pieterson score loads of runs. Rachel and Matthew
In June we went to watch England play Switzerland in a Euro 2012 Qualifier at the new Wembley Stadium. We only drew 2-2 but it was a great experience. Matthew and Rachel
In April, we had a great family holiday in Egypt. We were amongst the first tourists into the country following the Revolution. We visited Cairo and the Pyramids; sailed down the Nile visiting ancient Temples; relaxed on the Red Sea Coast; and then joined the Revolution in Tahir Square!
I represented Salisbury in the Wiltshire Championships held at Grittleton House last weekend. I came first and I won a Gold Medal and this certificate. Rachel
After the disappointment of the postponed game against Fulham, we successfully made it back to Liverpool on New Year's Day to watch them win 2-1 against Bolton. Fernando Torres and Joe Cole scored the Liverpool goals. It was great! Matthew and Rachel
This weekend we went on the train to watch Liverpool v Fulham but the game was postponed because of the snow. But I still managed to get into the Liverpool changing rooms at Anfield. Here I am touching Gerrard's shirt.

I have now finished my quilt which took me 2 weeks and 3 days. The top bit is cotton, the middle is wadding and the back is fleece, to make it comfy. It is now on my bed and i am really happy with it!
It's been snowy and very icy in Salisbury for a few days now. Our school has been shut since last Wednesday and daddy had to stay at home to look after us. We made a snowman in the back garden. Rachel and Matthew
Today we had a 2nd World War Evacuation day at school, and we did lots of activities. This is me as an evacuee. At the end of the day we had a big tea party to celebrate the end of the war and I made some sandwiches and biscuits. I also made some bunting. Matthew
On Tuesday I cycled into the back of a Hovis Lorry. My head hit the lorry with some force. Ambulance took me to hosipital but I was given the all-clear apart from a suspected broken nose and a few cuts and bruises. Could have been worse. As someone just said to me, I could have been brown bread! Geoff
Naomi won a family ticket to Legoland - our second winning entry for a local newspaper competition this year! This weekend we went there. It was fun. Geoff
After studying and researching part-time for a few years, I graduated today with an MA in History. Honorary Graduands who attended the ceremony were Jack Dee, the comedian, and Sir David Frost - they both applauded me when I collected the certificate and it's not often you can say that! Must stop pretending I'm a student soon - that's a hatrick of degrees now but I'm getting too old for this. Geoff
